Who Can Operate an EBSI Node?
Organizations based in the 27 EU member states, Norway, or Liechtenstein and affiliated with the European Blockchain Partnership (EBP) are eligible to become EBSI node operators. Candidates must meet specific security and technical requirements and obtain an endorsement from an EBP member in their respective country.

Learn About Node Types
The EBSI environment includes two types of nodes: regular and validating. Regular nodes maintain a copy of the ledger through a constant connection to the network. Validating nodes, in addition to this, are able to write new blocks. As a result, the technical requirements for these nodes are slightly more demanding.
