    Architectural accessibility

    The Research and Academic Computer Network – National Research Institute operates in two locations: Building at ul. Kolska 12, 01-045 Warsaw
    • The building is adapted for persons with reduced mobility.
    • There are two entrances: from Kolska Street (main entrance) and Spokojna Street. The main entrance allows wheelchair access.
    • Two parking spaces for people with disabilities are located near the main entrance.
    • A reception desk is located just inside the entrance.
    • Further access is controlled by gates that are wheelchair-accessible.
    • Corridors and rooms on all floors are accessible to wheelchair users.
    • The building has two elevators with automatic sliding doors.
    • Both visual and audible signals allow easy identification of the lift. Visual signage is accompanied by voice messages indicating cabin location.
    • Elevator button panels are located on the left side, approximately 1 meter above the floor. Buttons are clearly visible, high-contrast, about 20 mm in diameter, marked in Braille, and light up upon selection.
    • An accessible toilet is located on the ground floor near the reception.
    • Assistance and guide dogs are allowed in the building and all rooms.
    • A hearing loop system is installed in the building.
    • The building lacks high-contrast signage and large print for people who are blind or visually impaired.
    • An online Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreter is available at reception and throughout the building during NASK working hours. The service is free for Deaf users.

    • The building is adapted for persons with reduced mobility.
    • The entrance is from Stawki Street and allows wheelchair access.
    • Parking spaces for people with disabilities are available in the underground garage.
    • A reception desk is located immediately inside the entrance.
    • Further access is secured with card-operated doors that are wheelchair-accessible.
    • Corridors and rooms on all floors are accessible to wheelchair users.
    • The building has two elevators with automatic sliding doors.
    • Both visual and audible signals allow easy lift identification.
    • Elevator button panels are on the right side, approximately 1 meter above the floor. Buttons are clearly visible, high-contrast, about 20 mm in diameter, and light up upon selection.
    • An accessible toilet is located on the ground floor.
    • Assistance and guide dogs are allowed in the building and all rooms.
    • The building does not have hearing loops or high-contrast or large-print signage for people who are blind or visually impaired.
    • On-site Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreting service is not available.
