Mariusz Madejczyk
Deputy Director of NASK, Director for New Technologies for Public Policies
Mariusz Madejczyk is a promoter of simplifying administrative processes and an advocate for reducing bureaucracy through computerisation and automation. Since 1998, he has been closely associated with government administration at various levels: Podlaskie Voivodeship Office, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, Ministry of Digital Affairs, and NASK. He was the initiator and co-creator of the EZD PUW system, developed in 2008-2010 in Białystok, along with the entire legislative and organisational environment. He was also the initiator and co-creator of the EZD RP system (successor to EZD PUW) as a cloud service for the Polish administration. He created the NASK Branch in Białystok and was its director from 2018 to 2022.
Initiator and co-creator of the State Computerization Strategy (SIP) adopted for implementation by the Ministry of Digital Affairs in 2016. Initiatives/projects such as EZD RP, State Information Architecture, WIIP, and the Architecture Council were created based on SIP.
Graduate of the Faculty of Computer Science at the Białystok University of Technology. He is also a certified beekeeper.
