Research interests: cybercrime and cyberterrorism, computer simulation, crisis management logistics, security technologies, protection of classified information, security of mass events.

Doctor habilitated in security sciences, professor at the University of Warsaw. He completed bachelor’s studies in mathematics and computer science, and then obtained a master’s degree in computer science and econometrics. Deputy Director of the Warsaw Institute of Technology in the Łukasiewicz Research Network since 2024. Director of the Institute for Research and Development Coordination at the Police Academy in Szczytno from 2013 to 2017. Member of the Scientific and Technical Council at the Ministry of Internal Affairs from 2013 to 2016. Participant in 67 scientific, research and development projects, and project tasks of national and international nature as a member, manager, and coordinator. End user of many European projects and member of steering committees of scientific and industrial consortia. Author of over 50 publications and scientific communications in the area of security, computer simulation, cybercrime, and technical support for crisis activities, published in the USA, China, Hong Kong, Australia, and other places. Participant in 11 foreign internships, including at Instituto Superior de Ciencias Policiaia e Seguranca Interna in Lisbon. Former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Internal Security Journal (ISSN:20805268). Member of the International Association of Engineers – IAENG and NDIA (National Defence Industrial Association).
