Adam Marczyński
Deputy Director of NASK, Director for Cybersecurity and Innovation
Adam Marczyński has been associated with the IT industry for many years. Since 2001, he has been dealing with information security and cybersecurity, with particular emphasis on the security of information processing in cloud computing. He has held several management positions, including as a Board Member (CTO) at Chmura dla Zdrowia (Cloud for Health), Security Director (CISO) at Chmura Krajowa (National Cloud), Biuro Informacji Kredytowej (Credit Information Bureau), Biuro Informacji Gospodarczej Infomonitor (InfoMonitor Economic Information Bureau), and CSS S.A. He also has experience working in international corporations, such as HP, where for 8 years, he held positions related to security (including Country Security Officer, CEE Security Officer, and Security Architect). By combining many years of experience in the IT industry with soft skills (bachelor’s degree in sociology, master’s degree in political science), Adam Marczyński has built his reputation as an efficient and empathetic manager specialising in managing expert teams.
In addition to his professional work in business, Adam Marczyński cooperated with the SGH Warsaw School of Economics for many years as a lecturer in postgraduate studies in information security fields. During his career, he also obtained several professional certificates from both solution providers (IBM, Microsoft, HP) and independent organisations (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, C|EH, Security+, Server+). He is also socially engaged in information security organisations and actively participates in conferences and other events related to security.
